Teeth Whitening at Home – 4 Great Tips

Teeth Whitening at HomeIf you are looking for a way to improve your smile, you may want to work on getting whiter teeth. Sure, you could run to your store and pick up one of those expensive whitening kits, but they can be difficult to use and hard on your teeth.

Here are some great ideas for teeth whitening at home that can help you whiten your teeth for a low cost and without any side effects as well. Of course, if these methods become uncomfortable, you should stop using them, but these tips should help you to begin whitening your teeth with things you probably have around your home already.

Baking Soda for Teeth Whitening

One option that you can easily do at home to whiten your teeth is to use some baking soda on your teeth. Take a bit of baking soda, which you probably have in your kitchen cupboards, add a bit of water to it so you have a nice paste, and then use your toothbrush to brush your teeth with the paste you have made from the baking soda. Just brush very gently so you don’t hurt your teeth. Many types of whitening toothpaste use baking soda, so using your own at home is a wonderful way to clean your teeth and make them a bit whiter.

Lemon Juice and Salt

If you have a bit of lemon juice around and some table salt in a shaker, you can easily make another at home teeth whitening concoction. It’s very simple and easy to use, and if you don’t have lemon juice around, it’s easy to purchase it for a cheap price. Take a bit of salt and mix it up with the lemon juice so you have a thick paste-like substance. Use a bit on your toothbrush and simply brush your teeth to help remove some of the stains you have on your teeth.

Apple Cider Vinegar

You’ll also find that another simple way that you can work to whiten your teeth at home is with some apple cider vinegar. While it doesn’t taste the best, if you brush your teeth at night with it, it works to help whiten your teeth with very little work and it won’t cost you a lot either.

Lemon and Orange Peel

Using lemon and orange peel together is a great home remedy to help you whiten your teeth without spending a lot of money. Take the peels and simply rub them on your teeth. You don’t need to even use a tooth brush. There usually are no side effects at all and it really works to get your teeth looking bright and clean.

These are just a few great teeth whitening at home tips that you can easily and inexpensively use.

I also just heard from a friend that baking soda and hydrogen peroxide work as well since those ingredients are in over the counter whiteners. I tried and it does work wonders!

Wow! This article is so informative one. Getting your teeth whitened professionally is not a convenient option for everyone. Even I have tried lemon juice while brushing my teeth and found it truly effective one. Brushing hard will often ruined the teeth enamel and makes it more sensitive. So, one must follow tips and brush them firmly.
